“Citrus notes” shows a branch of oranges with a pink blossom on a warm ground.
The composition is gathered into a dense patch in the centre: a large orange on the left, two smaller ones to the right and below, and an open pink flower with fine petals between them. A branch with dark buds crosses the design from above, and broad green leaves with clear veins lie around the fruit. The coffee canvas is left unstitched and works as a warm ground close in tone to the peel. Nineteen floss colours, 41 m, with many shades of orange. The peel is built from several shades of orange with small light specks — that is what gives it texture.
A 170×170 mm design, rated simple. A still life of this size usually hangs in a kitchen or dining room; the hoop for finishing comes with the kit, a frame is separate. The chart has a QR code that transfers it into the SAGA app if you prefer working from a phone. Stitch the flower after the fruit: it partly overlaps the largest orange.
