“Good luck in your hands” shows a gnome in a pink hat carrying an oversized four-leaf clover.

What the picture shows

The figure stands to the right of centre: red braids fall from under a tall pink hat worked in raspberry with lighter highlights, and the face is almost hidden, showing only a small nose. The dress is light blue with darker folds and pink dots along the hem. The gnome holds a stem carrying a large clover of four heart-shaped leaves, stitched in several greens and turquoises with darker veining. Smaller clover leaves are scattered over the ground around the figure, and the ground itself is marked with pale pink and lilac washes. Nineteen floss colours hold this green and pink range together. The white Aida stays as the background and is left unstitched. The whole scene fits into the lower two thirds of the circle.
