“Cha-cha-cha” is a betta fish whose enormous tail unfurls like a rainbow across half the format.
What the picture shows
The fish's body is small and sits in the lower part: a deep blue head with a round eye and short pectoral fins. Above it the tail begins — wide wavy veils that rise and curl to the left. The colours change along its whole length: emerald and turquoise near the body, then blue and violet, then raspberry, orange and lemon at the tips. Fine pale rays run along the fins. Splashes and drops of the same colours fly around, and the background stays white. Forty-three shades give a smooth transition with no hard edges. The tail takes up more room than the body itself, and the whole composition rests on it.
