Beschreibung

“Berry sweet” is an owlet inside a wreath of berries, fir and dried oranges. A round composition on ecru cloth.

What the picture shows

The chick sits at the centre of the circle: pink-lilac downy feathers, large round eyes rimmed with yellow, a small beak, feet on a branch. The wreath around it is dense and many-coloured — green and blue fir, red guelder rose, blue berries, slices of dried orange, sprigs with small flowers and cones. Outside the wreath the ground stays light, with a pale pink ornamental pattern in the corners. The stitching is solid and the cloth is fully covered. The wreath closes completely, and the owlet is set into it so that its feet touch the lower branch.
