Perlenstickerei-Set Ikone auf Kunstleinwand „Heilige Eudokia“
Beschreibung
«St. Eudocia» shows the venerable martyr with a prayer rope; a green veil over a dark blue mantle is a rare combination in this series.
What the picture shows
The saint stands frontally, hands lowered and brought together before her. A green veil with gold edging covers her head, and over it a dark blue mantle falls in heavy vertical folds. Between her fingers she holds a long prayer rope that hangs almost to the bottom of the field. The halo is golden, with a beaded ornamental arch and the name cartouche above. The colours here are dense and dark. Face and hands remain printed on the canvas, as does the embossed ground — the beading is not solid.
What is in the kit
- Art canvas with a full-colour printed design — no need to follow a chart on screen
- Czech Preciosa beads, 15 colours
- Beading needles
- Instructions and a mounting diagram
Specifications
- Size: 230×300 mm (9.0×11.8 in)
- Beads: approx. 9,425
- Bead colours: 15
- Base: art canvas
- Difficulty: average
The 230×300 mm format holds the whole figure without losing detail. A finished icon is not pressed over the beads: brush it gently and take it to be framed before the canvas has time to crease at the edges, and it will hold its shape. The framing shown is an example only: there is no frame in the kit, it is bought separately.
