Perlenstickerei-Set Ikone auf Kunstleinwand „Heiliger Ignatius“
Beschreibung
«St.Ignatius» shows the hierarch in a terracotta phelonion with a blue omophorion; warm and cool stand side by side with no transition.
What the picture shows
The saint is shown to the waist, frontally. His beard is long and white in even strands. A blue omophorion with white crosses lies across his shoulders as a broad band; beneath it a phelonion in terracotta and orange with a fine scaled pattern. He holds a Gospel in a red-and-gold binding with a cross. The halo is golden, with a beaded ornamental arch and name plaque above. Face, beard and hands remain printed on the canvas, and the cream embossed ground is not beaded over — the beading is not solid.
What is in the kit
- Art canvas with a full-colour printed design — no need to follow a chart on screen
- Czech Preciosa beads, 17 colours
- Beading needles
- Instructions and a mounting diagram
Specifications
- Size: 230×300 mm (9.0×11.8 in)
- Beads: approx. 8,714
- Bead colours: 17
- Base: art canvas
- Difficulty: average
Stretched vertically at 230×300 mm, it finds room even in a small room. The canvas shows at once where the beaded part ends and the print begins, so it is almost impossible to go wrong with the borders, even on a first beaded icon. In the photo the work is already framed; the frame is not part of the kit and is bought separately.
