Perlenstickerei-Set Ikone auf Kunstleinwand „Heiliger Tichon“
Beschreibung
«St.Tikhon» shows the patriarch in an embroidered mitre with a staff; the black mantle and gold ornaments make this the most solemn image in the batch.
What the picture shows
The patriarch stands frontally, his beard long and white. On his head is a mitre worked in gold, red and blue beads with a cross on top. The mantle is black; over it lie a panagia and a pectoral cross on chains, with a light patterned epitrachelion below. His left hand holds a tall staff, the right is raised in blessing. The halo is golden, with a beaded ornamental arch and the name cartouche above. Face, beard and hands remain printed, as does the cream embossed ground — the beading is not solid.

The 230×300 mm format holds the whole figure without losing detail. Preciosa beads are even in size and hold their colour, so the rows lie without waves and the work will look the same in a few years of daily light. The moulding shown in the picture is bought separately from the kit.
