Stickvorlage für Perlenstickerei (Kunstleinwand, ohne Perlen) „Königliche Blumen“

“Royal flowers” — a group of white lilies in a central frame, surrounded by bands of Eastern ornament. The picture is restrained and dressy at the same time.

What the picture shows

Three lilies open in the middle of the canvas against a grey-green ground, with long recurved petals, visible stamens and narrow pointed leaves below; a small butterfly rests on one bloom. The petals are white with yellowish and pale blue shading. The central rectangle is outlined in lilac, and ornamental fields run around it: golden-red plant tracery on burgundy to the left, a light pattern on cherry red to the right, and strips of small squares and openwork scrolls above and below. The beadwork is partial: the lilies and all the ornament are beaded, while the soft blurred ground of the central panel stays as print.
