Stickvorlage für Perlenstickerei (Kunstleinwand, ohne Perlen) „Mama“

“Mommy” is a warm scene of motherhood: a young woman holds her child, who trustingly reaches up to touch her cheek.

What the picture shows

The woman, with thick red-gold hair falling in waves, bends her head and looks down at the baby. The child, in a pale blue shirt, leans against her and lifts a hand to her face. Her clothing is painted in broad bands of colour — blue, lilac, crimson, ochre — like a shawl or a woven throw. Behind them sunflowers stand like a wall: yellow petals, dark centres and large green leaves fill the whole background from edge to edge. The light is warm, almost honey-coloured. Coverage is full: beads cover the entire canvas — faces, hair, fabric and the sunflower ground alike.
