Stickvorlage für Perlenstickerei (Kunstleinwand, ohne Perlen) „Zarte Iris“

“Tender fleur-de-luce” — a group of lilac and pink irises in the middle of the canvas, framed by white hydrangea heads. The picture is bright and cool, like a garden in the early morning.

What the picture shows

Irises grow at the centre against a large yellow circle: open blooms running from pale blue to deep purple, with long pointed leaves below. The yellow circle reads like sun coming through the foliage, while the rest of the ground is a saturated blue. Round white and pale-blue flower heads with green leaves are scattered along the edges and corners, so the composition feels like looking into a flowering shrub. The beadwork is partial: the irises, the leaves and the white blossoms are beaded, while the blue ground and the yellow circle stay as print on the canvas.
