Stockings is the gallery section of finished, hand-embroidered Christmas stockings. The piece serves twice over: as wrapping for small presents and as a decoration that comes out every December.

How much work is in one

Stitching a stocking takes 20–70 hours depending on the technique: beaded versions sit near the lower end, cross stitch with a palette of up to 29 colours near the upper.
