Esquema para bordar con abalorios sobre lienzo artístico (sin abalorios) «Junto al roble mágico»

“At the magic oak” — a stylised tree with curling branches under a moon and stars, framed by bands of Celtic knotwork. The design is both fairy-tale and ornamental.

What the picture shows

A tree grows in the middle of the canvas, its crown built from large spirals: yellow, orange, green and pink curls with dotted rosettes inside them. Above is a blue night sky with a crescent moon, stars and white blossoms, and a dark bird sits on one branch. Below run bands of land and water: a green hill, wavy blue lines and several fish. Vertical strips of Celtic plaited ornament in pink, blue and green frame the picture left and right. The beadwork is partial: the tree, the ornamental strips, the waves, the stars and the moon are beaded, while the painted swirling sky stays as print.
