“Andante” is a vertical composition in the colour of aged paper: a close-up guitar, a yellowed sheet of music with a song title, and a few red roses near the lower edge. The mood is retro, quiet and a little nostalgic.

What the picture shows

The dark brown body of the guitar takes up almost half the canvas on the right, its waist curving away, the pale fretboard above it showing strings and frets clearly.
