Description
“Breath of Autumn” is a mountain village above a quiet river: a stone bridge with two arches, houses with tiled roofs and golden and crimson trees below a snow-capped peak.
What the picture shows
The composition is vertical. A mountain with snowy slopes rises at the top, with clouds above it, and on the right several slanting rows of clear beads cross the sky like rays of light. Lower down, on a green slope, the village huddles together: pale houses with brown roofs, small windows and the sharp spire of a church. An old stone bridge with two arches spans the river and leads to them. Autumn trees frame the picture on both sides in orange, gold, red and crimson, and at the bottom the water reflects the bridge, the mountains and the sky.
The beading is partial. Beads cover the tree crowns, the bridge, the houses and the green patches on the slope densely, while the snowy slopes of the mountain are worked in rows of white, pearl and pale blue beads over the print. Reflections on the water are short horizontal strokes of clear beads, so the river seems to shimmer. The sky and part of the water stay printed on the canvas, and the bright leaves in the foreground come forward. For the finest details the kit includes Preciosa size 13 micro-beads in three colours.

The pattern is printed straight on the canvas, so there is no counting. It is easy to start with the trees in the foreground, where the colours are richest, move on to the bridge and the houses, and leave the mountain and the reflections on the water for the end. Gallery finishing is provided for, with no frame and no mat. The frame with a mount, pumpkins, candles, cups, book, glasses, dried flowers and the throw in the photos are props for the shoot and are not part of the kit.
