What the picture shows

The hare stands in the centre: a grey-lilac body, long ears with pink inners and dark dots for eyes. It wears a red jumper with white polka dots and wide sleeves, small red paws showing below. A mouse leans in on the right in a red-and-white striped top, with one big round ear and a long tail. Lilac snowflakes and stars are scattered around, each worked as a separate cross. The background is stitched in pale lilac — flat and cold, so the red glows against it. Nine colours, 6.5 m of thread. The finished piece is mounted in a round acrylic frame with magnetic tape.
