“Three cute geese” shows three white geese in warm hats and scarves walking along a snowy path.

What the picture shows

The birds stand almost shoulder to shoulder: the one on the left wears a navy hat and a matching scarf, the middle one red, the third light blue with a white trim. Their bodies are worked in white and cool grey with pale blue shadows, while the beaks and feet are orange-yellow and give the piece its only warm accent. Sprigs with red berries rise on either side, blue snowflakes fall from above, and a thin strip of snow lies under their feet. Twenty floss colours go mostly into the knitwear and the berries. The light yellow Aida stays as the background and is left unstitched. The birds stand in a single row across the middle, so the piece reads equally well in a hoop or in a square frame.
