Toile imprimée pour broderie de perles (sans perles) « Thé du matin »
Description
“Morning Tea” shows a bouquet of red flowers in a glass vase beside a teacup on a wooden table.
What the picture shows
The bouquet is made of large red-orange poppies and tulips, with small pink and lilac blossoms and green leaves between them. The vase is glass with a wide base, and the stems are visible through it in the water. On the right stands a white cup with a gold rim on a saucer decorated with red berries and green leaves. Pink silk cloth is gathered on the left, with a sprig of red berries lying beside it. The background is light warm pink and the table is wooden. The beading is partial: beads cover the flowers, vase, cup and saucer and the berries, while the background, tabletop and cloth stay printed on the canvas.
