What the picture shows

The saint is turned slightly to the right, her eyes on the viewer. An olive-green maphorion covers her head and shoulders, with a white edging showing at the face. Her outer robe is terracotta red, falling in folds. The raised right hand holds a golden cross; the left holds an open pale scroll with lettering. The halo is broad, built from green, ochre and gold rows. The beading is partial: beads cover the figure, the halo, the corner rosettes, the narrow side border and the name cartouche, while the ivory background with its printed leaf scrollwork stays in print. The framing is strict — golden-brown corner rosettes, a narrow side band and a rectangular cartouche under the figure.
