Description
“Treasure of Traditions” is a bracelet with a star ornament in turquoise and white. Four bead colours, about 1,385 beads, simple level.
What the picture shows
The main motif is the eight-pointed star familiar from Scandinavian and Carpathian knitting and weaving. Stars alternate with diamonds and run in a continuous row along the band. Turquoise beads act as the ground, white draws the stars themselves, and dark beads set accents at the centres and edges, so the ornament never blurs and reads from a distance. A neat sawtooth border frames the band. The ends are closed with metal clamps carrying a hook and a chain.

Turquoise is a rare colour in folk ornament, and it is exactly what makes this bracelet modern: the pattern is traditional, but nothing about it feels like a museum piece.
