Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Festive snake"
Description
“Festive snake” shows a green snake in a red scarf curled up inside a drawn Christmas bauble.
What the picture shows
The body is worked in green beads with golden specks, the scarf in red, while the eyes and face stay printed. Around the snake winds the outline of the bauble in pale blue and white beads, crowned with a gold-and-red cap. Small pearly beads are scattered over the mint ground and red berries lie below. The circle is trimmed with cream beads. The second part of the work is a mint base with a decorated tree full of red baubles. The golden specks on the snake’s body add a glint to the design. The red berries at the foot of the composition are worked in a tight cluster.

The two pieces are sewn together with the padding inside and hung on a white ribbon. The motif is symbolic, so this ornament is often bought as a small present for the year of the snake. The cones, branches and the red card in the photo are styling props. The outline of the bauble around the snake is worked last — it closes the composition. The pattern is printed on the canvas in colour, so the order is clear at once.
