Privacy Policy

This page explains what the Abris Art online shop collects about you, why we need it, how long we keep it and what you can do about it. Plain language, legal formulas only where they are genuinely needed.

Who is responsible for your data

The owner of abrisart.com and the controller of your personal data is Abris Art. For anything concerning your data, write to the address on our contacts page with "Personal data" in the subject line.

What we collect

When you place an order: your first and last name, phone number, e-mail, and the delivery address or carrier branch. Without these we can neither pack your parcel nor get it to you.

When you create an account: the same, plus your order history. Your password is stored encrypted only. We cannot see it and cannot recover it.

When you subscribe to our newsletter: your e-mail address. Nothing else.

Automatically, just from reading the site: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you opened. This is the technical data every website records in order to work and to count visits.

We do not collect or store your card details. Card payments happen on the payment provider's side; all we receive back is "paid" or "not paid".

Why we need it

• to fulfil your order: pack it, hand it to the carrier, send you the tracking number;
• to contact you if something about the order needs clarifying;
• to show your purchase history in your account;
• to send you news or offers by e-mail, but only if you asked for them;
• to find out what works badly on the site and fix it.

We do not sell your data, do not pass it to advertising brokers, and do not use it for anything outside this list.

Who we share it with

Only as much as it takes to get your parcel delivered:

• delivery services — the recipient's name, phone and address;
• payment providers — the amount and the order number;
• our newsletter service — your e-mail address, if you are subscribed.

We are also obliged to hand over data on a lawful request from state authorities. There are no other cases.

How long we keep it

Order data — for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Account data — for as long as the account exists. Newsletter subscription — until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website leaves in your browser. We use them to remember what is in your basket, to keep you signed in between pages, and to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the basket and account login will then stop working properly.

Your rights

You can:

• find out exactly what data we hold about you;
• correct it if it is wrong — much of it you can edit yourself in your account;
• ask us to delete your account and data, except what the law requires us to keep;
• unsubscribe from the newsletter, through the link in any e-mail or by writing to us;
• object to the processing of your data.

Write to us and we will reply within thirty days.

How we protect your data

The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Passwords are stored encrypted. Access to the order database is limited to the staff who need it to do their job.
