Description
“Blooming Easter Egg” is a towel with an Easter subject: a village landscape inside an oval wreath of spring flowers. The richest palette among these towels — 44 colours.
What the picture shows
The centre is an egg-shaped oval enclosing a landscape: a whitewashed cottage under a thatched roof, trees in blossom, hills and a pink-and-blue morning sky. The oval is framed by a dense wreath of yellow daffodils, white snowdrops, pussy willow and green foliage, with decorated eggs and a nest lying at its foot. Below, a border of alternating yellow flowers and ears of grain runs the full width on a fine wavy line. The fabric is white, with fringe along the lower edge.
