Cross Stitch Kit "Tiger cub"

“Tiger cub” is a cushion kit: a tiger cub’s face in a wreath of cornflowers and pink blooms. Cover fabric is included, so the embroidery becomes a finished object.

What the picture shows

The cub is shown face-on, only the head and the paws peeking out below: a ginger face with white cheeks, dark stripes on the forehead and large black eyes, with a small red berry on the crown. The wreath runs almost all the way round the face: large blue cornflowers below, pink and lilac blooms above, small white petals and berry sprigs, and green leaves in several shades. The composition is left open at the top, so it does not read as a closed ring. The white fabric is unstitched, which keeps the cushion light and suits both a nursery and a living-room sofa.
