Description
«St. Praskovya» shows the great-martyr in a blue jewelled crown, with a cross and an open scroll.
What the picture shows
The saint stands frontally, her gaze direct. On her head is a crown worked in blue and white beads with separate stones — it holds the whole upper part of the composition. A crimson maphorion falls over her shoulders, a blue gown with gold trim beneath. Her right hand holds a slender cross, her left an open scroll with Church Slavonic text. The halo is golden, with a beaded ornamental arch and name plaque above. Face, hands, the scroll text and the embossed ground remain printed — the beading is not solid.

The finished piece, 230×300 mm, keeps its vertical line and needs no large wall. The bead colours are matched to the print, so the stitched part does not argue with the ground but joins it; at the border the shades pass over softly, without a hard seam. The framing shown is an example only: there is no frame in the kit, it is bought separately.
