Description
“Decorate” shows a Christmas tree built from white cats with Santa at the top.
What the picture shows
The figure forms a triangle: at the top is Santa's head in a red cap, with a white beard and green eyes, and below him five white cats sit and lie against one another, wound about with a green garland and red berries. Each has its own detail — a ruffled collar, a red bow, a striped candy cane, a red mitten or a parcel with a ribbon. The cats' tails curve round and close the bottom row. A red star glows at the very top. Threads hang from above carrying beaded snowflakes in silver, white and pale blue, along with small baubles. The mint-green printed ground with its tiny stars stays unbeaded.
