Description
“FC Real Madrid” shows the gold crest with its crown on a white-and-blue ground of paint drips.
What the picture shows
The crest is round: the rim is worked in two rows of gold beads and the interlaced letter monogram inside is laid out in gold and bronze as well. A crown sits above the circle, with pearl balls, a red cap and green and red insets. The ground is geometric — blue, white and ochre planes overlapping — with narrow runs dripping down them, caught by vertical rows of pale blue, blue, yellow and white beads. Much of the background is left as printing, so the beading reads as separate glinting streams. The crown is the trickiest part: pearl, red and green beads all meet on a small area. The monogram is worked in narrow arcs, which keeps the lines crisp.
