Description

“La la llamas” shows two llamas in bright knitted hats on a blue ground with bunting and the words fa la la la LLama. A large piece, 240×350 mm, 39 colours.

What the picture shows

Two llamas look straight at the viewer: a white one behind, a cream-and-ginger one in front. Both wear colourful hats with pompoms and ear flaps and are hung with garlands of coloured baubles and beads. The ground is a saturated blue with wavy streaks that read as wind or snow. Triangular bunting stretches across the top and bottom in yellow, pink and white. Sloping red lettering spells out fa la la la and LLama, playing on the line from the well-known carol. Small white specks across the ground read as falling snow.
