Reviews: what happens to them and what you get for one

Reviews: what happens to them and what you get for one

An embroidery kit is not a thing you can judge from a catalogue photo. The photo shows the scene, the size and the contents. Whether the pattern is easy to read, whether there are enough beads, how the canvas holds — only someone who has stitched it can tell you honestly.

What we do with reviews

  • We read all of them. A person sees every review, not only a robot.
  • We answer. Any review that reports a problem gets a reply and a note on what we will do.
  • We pass them to production. If something is missing from a kit or an instruction is unclear, it gets fixed in the next batch.
  • We publish photos. A finished piece in a review helps the next buyer more than any description of ours.

How to leave one

  1. Open the page of the kit you have stitched.
  2. Go to the Reviews tab and click "Write a review".
  3. Give a rating, write a few sentences to the point and attach a photo of the finished work.

All published reviews are collected on the Customer reviews page, together with our replies.

What to write about

The most useful reviews answer simple questions: how long the work took, whether the materials were enough, how readable the pattern was, which level the kit suits. A single "loved it" is nice to receive, but it gives the next buyer very little.
