What the picture shows
On the left stands a bear in a pink dress with a long skirt, a cape and a bonnet with a bow, her paws folded in front of her. On the right is a bear in a top hat, a dark caped coat and a striped red-and-yellow scarf, raising a paw with a berry-laden sprig. A lantern with a warm flame hangs above them on a bracket; a full moon shines in the deep blue sky and snow falls thickly. In the background on the left is a small lit fir, with snow-covered houses and trees behind it. The beading is partial: the sky, the snow, the lantern, the fir, the bears' clothing and the distance are beaded, while their fur itself stays printed on the canvas.
