Cross Stitch Kit "Garnet-1"

“Garnet-1” shows a ripe pomegranate broken open to reveal the seeds.

What the picture shows

The fruit fills the centre of the motif: the skin runs from light red to dark cherry with a pale highlight at one side, and the seeds sit tightly packed where it is broken open — small red crosses with white points of light. The pomegranate’s crown with its sharp points rises at the top, and two thin tendrils curl away from it. Three large leaves worked in two greens with dark veining support the fruit from below, along with a short curved stalk. In the photo gold beads are scattered over the crown and the break — the data for this kit does not list them. Sixteen floss colours are split between the red fruit and the foliage. The background is not stitched: in the photo it is a white shirt.
