Cross Stitch Kit "Loving hedgehogs"

“Loving hedgehogs” shows two hedgehogs standing back to back with a large word stitched below them.

What the picture shows

The quills are worked in dense stitches of dark red, brown and cherry, so the backs look spiky and solid; the faces are pale beige with pink cheeks and black noses. Each hedgehog holds a small heart in its paws and lifts its nose upwards. A large red heart with initials inside hangs above them, and pink and raspberry hearts of different sizes scatter around. The bottom third is taken up by the word YOU: the letters are filled with pink and tiny hearts and outlined in red, in English. Seventeen floss colours are concentrated in the quills and the lettering. The light blue Aida stays as the background and is left unstitched. The figures and the word sit one above the other and together build a tall upright composition.
