Description
“Lavender's aroma” shows two bunches of lavender in white vessels with lemons on a wooden table.
What the picture shows
The larger bunch stands in a round-bellied jug on the right: dozens of spikes worked in lilac, violet, pink and pale blue beads on thin green stems spread out in a wide fan. On the left, in a lower pot, is a second bunch, denser and darker in the same colours. Both vessels are white, stitched in white, grey and pale blue beads with a soft shadow on the side. Two yellow lemons with a green leaf lie between them, and a few sprigs of lavender are scattered on the table to the right. The tabletop is laid in horizontal rows of beige, brown and cream beads. The background is a pale printed wall in warm vertical stripes and stays unbeaded.
